ITO EQUIPMENT

Ito Group talked with its biggest customers, listening to their concerns, complaints, and demands for full-automatic assembly equipment that matched both the speed and accuracy required of modern assembly lines while maintaining enough flexibility and simplicity that they could be quickly reconfigured at low cost as production demands shifted. The result was our V-Star line, released in 2018 and refined since then.

V-Star lines can be set up as semi-automatic workstations with manual handling, or as fully-automatic inline systems with cassette loaders and unloaders, return conveyors, SECS/GEM integration, and just about anything a fully-automated environment would ever require. Tooling is simple and can often be made in-house or at local machine shops. Set-up is straightforward, and once set-up, maintenance and unplanned downtime is minimal. New designs can be tooled and tested with V-Star lines at our Vietnam factory before being sent to the customer, speeding up the NPI cycle. They are compact, ergonomic, and upgradeable on-site within your factory in most cases.

Dispensing, auto-screwing, ACF lamination, precision mounting, heat staking, thermocompression bonding, laser marking, laser trimming, complex pick-and-place, welding, inkjet printing, and just about any other application with heads or effectors that can be mounted on our robots can be done.
